District 21 runs from downtown Huntsville northeast through Chase, up through Meridianville, all the way to the Tennessee state line near Hazel Green. Type your address into the lookup tool below to find out — and meet the candidate who's running.
These places are partly or fully in HD-21. If your address is in one, you should still verify with the Alabama Secretary of State voter lookup (district lines run on streets, not city names), but you have a better-than-even shot.
District 21 covers roughly the eastern and northern parts of Madison County, running up to the Tennessee state line.
Forrest Satterfield (D) — biomedical engineer, entrepreneur, and the candidate who's running because the system needs an engineer's mind, not another career politician's. Read his platform.
Rex Reynolds (R) — incumbent, in office since 2018. Former director of the Huntsville Department of Public Safety and former city administrator.
The Democratic primary scheduled for May 19, 2026 was canceled — Forrest advanced as the Democratic nominee unopposed. The general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
