District 21 runs from downtown Huntsville northeast through Chase, up through Meridianville, all the way to the Tennessee state line near Hazel Green. Put your address into the state's official map and it will tell you for certain. This page has the dates, the ballot, and what to do once you know.
These places are partly or fully in HD-21. If your address is in one, you should still check it against the state's address map (district lines run on streets, not city names), but you have a better-than-even shot.
District 21 covers roughly the eastern and northern parts of Madison County, running up to the Tennessee state line.

The Democratic primary scheduled for May 19, 2026 was canceled. Forrest advanced as the Democratic nominee unopposed. The general election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
